How to Get Involved with Windjammers Sailing
Windjammers Sailing Club offers a wide variety of sailing opportunities.
Cruising: There are 5 or more Cruises planned each year. From day cruises to spots in the lower Bay to multi-day Cruises as distant as Macinac Island, contact us for exciting Cruising events planned in the Summer months.
Racing: The club has a very active Lightning Fleet that races on Thursday’s throughout the summer. The club hosts several fleets of races at least 14 Tuesday nights throughout the summer. The club also has a group of sailors that race lasers / catamarans on select weekends.
Launching: If you have a boat that you can trailer launch, checkout the dry sail area. For a very nominal fee, you can keep your boat ready to sail with access to a great private launch. No headaches with set up, take down, hauling and waiting at crowded public access points.
Don’t have a boat, no problem. There are several options for getting some Sailing Experience, no experience required, just a willingness to have fun.

The club also has socials every month that are a lot of fun, not to mention great meals as well. Heck, even work parties are fun.
