• Windjammers Weekend Cruiser Race

Saturday, June 6 – Monday, June 8

Join the Cruise Committee for a full weekend of cruising, racing, and social events during our upcoming Weekend Cruiser Race.

Designed for both competitive sailors and relaxed cruisers, this multi-leg adventure across the bay includes destinations such as Oconto and Wave Pointe. Depending on weather and wind conditions, final course details will be determined a few days prior to departure or during the skipper’s meeting.

The weekend begins with a skipper’s meeting at 8:30 a.m., where we will finalize course plans, start times, coordinate slip reservations, and share additional event details.

In addition to the on-the-water competition, the weekend will feature a variety of social activities and themed gatherings designed to make the event welcoming and enjoyable for all cruisers.

Weekend highlights include:

• A first-leg post-race gathering featuring dockside old fashions and lighthearted festivities.

• A tropical-themed second leg. To qualify, participating boats must embrace island-inspired décor and attire during the “Tropic Run Across the Bay.” All racers will receive a lei at departure, and tropical-themed prizes will be awarded. Piña coladas and mocktails will be served at the destination.

• A relaxed final leg focused on camaraderie, strategy, and a fun conclusion to the weekend.
