I have been considering what should be done with the pumphouse to improve it’s appearance. It cannot be moved because it houses the well and pump, and electrical infrastructure for the club.

I have attached 4 options for a design layout. In looking at the cost, the materials would costs approx.. $2,500, and there is the labor to build it. The 1^st three options are presented because it was suggested at a meeting to build a lighthouse to improve the aesthetics. We do have the funds to accommodate the construction of the lighthouse.

Option 4 would be to simply re-side the pump house with cedar or rough sawn boards or plywood, and stain it the same color as the pavilion. It would also be reroofed with a metal roof to match the pavilion. A door with grilled window and perhaps a grilled window could also be added to improve the appearance. Obviously, this would be the simplest way and cost much less than $2,500.

I think it's likely that whatever option is selected, that the work would be completed in the fall of 2026, however, an option should be decided soon so the concrete can accommodate the chosen option.
